ICI’s Vision and Mission

Interlocking Communities, Inc. is dedicated to supporting families in Gwinnett and surrounding areas as they acquire the knowledge and skills to be successful in their education and work lives.

It is the mission of Interlocking Communities, Inc to help both children and adult students pursue excellence with measurable results, to assist with mastery of life skills, and to network with partner organizations for the benefit of the identified populations in the community we serve. It is our belief that these actions working in harmony will develop a stronger, healthier community.

Because we are education-focused, we offer programs to the people in our community free of charge.

We believe in the idea:

"Give someone a fish and they'll eat for a day; teach someone to fish and they'll eat for a lifetime."

Our primary program is Ready by Five (RBF) where we focus on preschool-age children and their parents because studies show that nearyly 50% of Gwinnett’s children are 30% or more behind their peers upon entering Kindergarten.

Our longest-running program is an English Language Learner (ELL) program and is open to adults from any county. Our students are exposed to a classroom teacher as well as language software and computer use. We provide a substantial snack during which our students have the opportunity to practice what they have learned and commune with faculty, staff, and other students.
